This was purchased for my 18 year old son. He wanted a field watch and this one fitted the bill perfectly. It’s got the classic 1970s designed Mellor Case and fits his wrists perfectly and is automatic. It’s the classic watch, but better. Of you are sitting on the fence about buying a pair dont, but then now. These give such an iconic look to your wardrobe attire wether you are wearing a suit or leather jacket with chinos with a fedora. Brand new pairs just waiting to be opened and worn. From the creaking opening of the case to find them wrapped in thin brown paper, I love am I just wish I could buy another pair, I just don't have the funds at the moment.

I first bought a green Special 6 Shirt back in 2001 primarily for military and outdoor use. It has never ever let me down and one of the best pieces of all weather outdoor kit I've ever owned. Extremely well built, robust, windproof and has decent rain protection. Wear next to skin or part of a layering system in extreme cold conditions. Or for heavy downpours stick it on underneath a proper waterproof. I've even worn it under my dry suit while scuba diving! It is genuinely the best shirt Buffalo make in my opinion. I take mine everywhere with me all over the world-all year round as it has become a very versatile piece of kit for me, keeping me warm when needed in all conditions in both winter and during chilly summer nights. I outgrew and sold my green special 6 shirt (as one does when you get older) and purchased a larger black special 6 shirt in size 42 from Silvermans in 2021 - (Twenty years after I bought my first one!) There wasn't anything wrong with my first green shirt except it didn't fit me anymore and I'm sure it would've lasted another 20 years! I can't recommend the Special 6 Shirt enough and wouldn't look to buy a similar shirt made and copied by many others such as the "Smock"
a version made by Thrudark. I have a Thrudark Shroud and wear my Buffalo Special 6 underneath when it's extremely cold in heavy downpours - Making it extremely bombproof!! Buy once and it'll last decades. Buffalo Systems even offer a repair/replenish service if needed without the need to buy a new one. No other brand does this. You can also add a Buffalo DP hood (purchased separately) and you can't go wrong. Silvermans has been and remains my no.1 go to retailer for high performance outdoor and military kit since the 1990's.

Excellent price for a very reliable sock with a multitude of uses in warmer conditions. I've used these many times over the years. Well made and robust. Ideal for long distance walking in boots or normal walking/hiking footwear. I've worn these socks to walk 4 x 50km at the Nijmegen Marches and have performed very well in the heat/hot weather during July. Once again Silvermans has been and remains my no.1 go to retailer for high performance outdoor and military kit since the 1990's.

Fantastic high grade cowhide well put together

As an operational Firefighter I wanted a watch that could cope with the job. Something that could take a knock, slip under a tunic and fit over a dry suit with ease and built to last. That's what I got. CWC GS Sapphire. Happy days.

Great bit of kit, well used but full of character, room for a brew kit and even a bagged ration ideal when out walking

The square buckle is much bigger than the standard CWC NATO that you get with a CWC watch and for some wrist sizes, this might pose an issue, depending on how which method you use to wear your strap. For my almost 7" wrist, this square buckle NATO fits securely enough and is very comfortable!

This is the second I have purchased- this time for a present. Great piece of kit ,very versatile especially with the useful built in peak.
